In 1999 I attended the ABS School of Bladesmithing taught by Harvey Dean and Mike Conner, and have been forging
blades as a passion ever since. I adhere to the highest standards of strength and functionality, and every blade
and sheath is completed from start to finish solely by me.
I have a masters in Museum Studies and a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and was a
museum curator for over a decade. I have lectured extensively on historical edged weapons and curatorial topics including
presentations at the New York Historical Society, the Blade Show in Atlanta, Dragoncon, and many others.
I love history, archeology, craftsmanship, primitive skills, writing and playing music, bonsai, writing fiction
and all kinds of other things.
